![]() ![]() thats the point of it Anyway what am i talking about. and you dont get rewarded for that im playing through the thinner route after like 4 years i think and its a different experience than the paint route it makes you feel bad and makes you want to do the paint route. You have to spray both of his arms until he pulls them in. the point of it all is to be satisfyingly unsatisfying, because you’re taking a broken world and breaking it a little bit more to save yourself a few hours of gameplay. Its possible to defeat him with paint, but its a real PITA. youre ruining towns and hurting people, and youre destroying the relationship between two brothers, and its all very painfully slow and unrewarding because the game really wants you to feel it. Just like in the console adventures Mickey. ![]() ![]() and theres things to be appreciated in the subtlety of it all– the music changes and the overworld interactions become harsher and the characters walk hunched over, and its meant to make you feel bad because youre doing bad things just for the sake of it. The most significant addition to this formula is the paint and thinner mechanic from the Epic Mickey series. The only things effected in the ending are Small Pete and his Ship Log, Big Bad Pete and all the Missions he gives you, your battle with Petetronic, Pete Pan and Captain Hook and how you deal with them, the Clock Tower Boss, Animatronics Goofy, Daisy, and Donald, and finally helping Horace. I guess people don’t understand that the thinner route isnt supposed to be dramatic and bombastic. It only effects what Paint/Thinner upgrade you get after the battle. ![]()
